All the dogs on this page have played a large part-each in their own way -to the success of Mystic Collies. They were all a treasured part of my life and whether at home or in the show ring, were always truly the "wind beneath my wings". Mystic Collies began with the purchase of a little blue puppy dog who grew up to become one of the most elegant collies ever.... CH Green Acres Stonewash Denim HC Ch. Napiers American Storm ex Debonair Green Acres Calico |

After years of careful study we were blessed with the purchase of two sable bitches from Impromptu Collies who would become......... CH Impromptu Medea Ch. Sealores Grand Applause ex Impromptu Visa There are no words to describe how much this grand collie meant in my life. She finished with ease with specialty wins and group placements and stole my heart with her intelligence and ability to always be there as a quiet soulmate. CH Impromptu Reeses Pieces Ch. Sealores Grand Applause ex Impromptu Visa Reesey set the type here with her incredible face sound temperment and movement. I still look for her face in every litter. She was the perfect collie...never doing anything wrong...asking for nothing, but giving her all. She is in virtually every pedigree here. Both Medea and Reese are pictured here taking second place in the Brace Class at a National Specialty Show.

Together, they would set the standard for type and temperament and become what made the simple word of mystic into Mystic Collies.
What can you say about your first champion... well he was a truly elegant, wonderful dog who taught me what beauty the collie must have. He had many specialty and all breed wins and taught me a good deal about showing dogs.

Ch. Classique Incorrigible Impromptu The Bandit ex Ch. The Meadows Rainbow Xpress Faith was the most incredibly unique and brilliant collie I have ever been fortunate enough to love. She was a combination of inbred Impromptu and The Meadows. She loved every minute of her life and in her only litter by Ch. The Meadows Notorious ROM produced four champions including CCA Winners Dog 1997 and Best American Bred 2000.

Ch. Mystic Incomparable Ch. The Meadows Notorious ROM ex Ch. Classique Incorrigible Best American Bred CCA 2000 Whitney is a once in a lifetime bitch that I have the privilege of looking at each day. She has it all-unequaled expression, type, movement, and a unique personality that aways keeps you entertained. It is an honor to have her in my life, and through her daughter, Mystic My Heart Goes On, Mystic truly goes on.
Ch. Mystic The Meadows Classique CH The Meadows Notorious ROM ex Classique Incorrigible Winners Dog- Collie Club Of America 1997 Christopher was a breeders dream-a truly sweet collie who moved like he was on air. He finished with five majors at the national in Reno under Judge Judie Evans and exemplified so much of what we hope for with each newborn puppy. He had style, presence, and presented "a proud picture of true balance". "He was one of what we all are-a single drop of moisture on a sunlit sea...but it seems that some of the drops sparkle--indeed they do sparkle." (Camelot) In your moment in time, Christopher, you sparkled... in our dreams you still do.

Ch. Mystic Innuendo Head-turned charmer-this girl was special from the get-go and knows it. I never saw her, from the moment she opened her eyes that she wasn't engaging you with her special smile. Joni went to live with Ed and Isabel Ososki of Silver Thread Collies as their foundation and they finished her championship with ease. She continues to rule there like the queen that she is. She is also the inspiration for the short story-The Blond In Ed's Bed.

Ch. Classique Bad Is Better Ch. Classique Color Me Bad ex Ch. The Meadows Rainbow Xpress Sugar Bear flew to Illinois with me, not because she was a smooth, but because she was one of the nicest headed collies I had ever seen as a puppy. I was madly in love with her mother, Stuffy, and would have taken anything she produced. She finished her championship in two weeks and was unbeaten at the Midwest Specialties by any other bitch for two years. This included the monumental win over 19 specials at the St. Louis Collie Club. She loves everything about life and produced for us, the elegant, Mystic Even Better. Not bad for a little brown dog without a full white collar and no hair!! And at the age of nine and a half-she still has that flawless head-look for her as a Veteren this show season..

CH Mystic In Your Dreams The Meadows Carry The Dream ex Green Acres Snicker Doodle (?daughter of Ch Impromptu Reeses Pieces) This guy caught my eye and heart from the moment he opened his eyes. He is beautiful, athletic, and a great producer. And, you can't have a bad day when you watch him. He received the best from both worlds (Impromptu and The Meadows), and reigns supreme over his Mystical kingdom. Look for him in agility this year. He floats effortlessly through life-and always has a smile. So do his puppies!

Ch. Mystic The Meadows Freedom Song Mystic Stand And Deliver ex Mystic The Meadows Summer Chant Joseph certainly received the best from both his parents-incredible head detail-beautiful coat, type to burn , and a wonderful loving temperment. After a successful puppy season at the shows, Joseph went to live at Millcreek Collies where he finished in grand style and is seen on occasion at Specialties.

Ch. Mystic Tootsie Pop The Meadows Carry The Dream ex Green Acres Snicker Doodle Robin weighed in at the grand total of 3 oz. No one expected her to live through the first 24 hrs-but she did. She always nursed on her own-her own way. By six weeks she was starting to look like a real puppy, and promptly went to her first match at 10 weeks-taking third in a class of 12. Her formal show career began at nine months where we entered her as a filler for others we felt were more deserving-wrong again. Robin went Best of Breed over champions for her first points and was pulled in the group. We began taking her more seriously. Ultimately she went to live with Suzanne Bergreen (Nightwind Collies) in Pa. and finished her championship quickly-again her own way. Today she can be found on the leather couch or playing with any kids who come to visit.
